Just learning this news in 2023. I worked with Ski at the UNC School of Medicine Center for Development and Learning from 1991 to about 1996. Ski would come to my office and step outside with me for a cigarette, and we would discuss substantive matters about child mind, brain, and education as well as world events. Big heart full of experience and purpose. Condolences to you, Katie (don't know if you remember me) and the family.

This is my grandfather. I love him very much. He was an incredibly honorable and giving man, who was loving and selfless towards his family. I miss him very much. My siblings, father and I still speak of him regularly and wish he was here with us very much. He was an incredible military man. He served his country fearlessly. He never talked about it much, and he was very humble about it all. I believe it effected him in his later years whatever he went through during those years. We all discuss how we wish we had more time with him. May he rest in peace.

Although I never knew your father Tony, just the little I know about you makes me certain he was a great man. He obviously did a lot for our country. You should be proud. I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. Losing a parent is supposedly natural but there is nothing natural or easy about it. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart is saddened to know that there will be one more empty seat at the table. We have lost many in this Brotherhood and I know many more will be following him. I know that he will have excellent company there, but it makes it no easier.

I want to express to the family my deepest condolences and heart felt sadness. He will be greatly missed by the members of the state of Ohio. May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Wrench & Doc Ski for long-time friends they traveled many many miles. Wrench told me many stories about Doc Ski, when I met him I understood and enjoyed his friendship along with with you. Kate, I don't know if you remember me I don't I didn't meet you very many times but Bill was that SA. I got to travel many places with Bill and I met lots of Brothers but Doc Ski was one that I enjoyed meeting the most. I guess you could call him a real character. I'm very sorry that I will not be able to make it to the service. It's just impossible for me to trave, but just know Wrench being a Marine pulling Guard Duty and waited for all the Vietnam vets to check in and Doc will be right there beside him. So I will be here praying for him and know that I will be thinking of you here in Maryland. If there is ever anything I can do, you have my email address and this is my phone number 410 490 2357. If there is ever anything I can do even coming down and giving you my shoulder I will be there for you, so God bless you and hang in there. Wrench and Doc are up there looking down and they're right beside us holding on to us. Love you forever, Skeeter.
