I am very sadden to have received the news of Uncle Bob passing on from this world into the next “which is better by far. I am glad though he was a stalwart soldier of the cross. There is no question of his eternal destiny, that is with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
When I think of my uncle Bob I will always think of Lake Bomoseen. I think about summer time and outdoor camp fires, boat rides, water skiing and fishing …...great times. I also think about NJ and Terrell Road Chapel where he served the body of Christ his whole life.
I will always remember how he was quick to smile and laugh. He always was happy to see you.
He also had a great sense of humor, especially Norwegian jokes. My two youngest, Luisa and Natalie, thought he was great too with the rowing and bailing skit on his lap.
He has left a legacy worthy of his calling

“The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.” (Proverbs 20:7)
I praise God for his example and a life well done.

Thank you so much for your thoughts of your Uncle Bob. He loved all the Maiers!!
We are at peace knowing that he is with the Lord and Savior whom he loved and served.
