Robert Hansen

Robert Hansen, age 85, of Pittsboro, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at his home.

Robert was born in Union County, New Jersey on April 6, 1932 to the late Bjarne Hansen and Ruth Hamre Hansen. He was also preceded in death by a brother Walter Hansen.

Surviving relatives include his wife Joan Hansen, sons; Douglas Hansen and wife Bonnie, David Hansen and wife Jocelyn, daughters; Donna Bristow and husband George, Holly Purkey and husband Tim, Joy Hollows and husband Gregory, brother Donald Hansen and wife Cathryn, Walter’s wife Shirley Hansen, nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 1PM to 2PM at Donaldson Funeral Home & Cremation Griffin Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow at 2PM with Douglas Hansen presiding. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Park in Siler City with Military Rites.
