Kenneth Fielding Strowd

Kenneth Strowd, age 77, died September 11, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Blanche Mann Strowd, sister, Judy Wyatt, and brother, Donald Strowd.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Phyllis Ray Strowd; sons, Greg Strowd (Stephanie) of Chapel Hill, NC and Doug Strowd (Bonnie) of Chapel Hill, NC; grandsons, Ethan Strowd of Boone, NC and Jackson Strowd of Greenville, NC; sisters, Phyllis  Ward ( Charles) of Chapel Hill, NC and Frances Moore (Bill) of Hillsborough, NC; and brother-in-law, Robert Wyatt of Stoneville, NC.

Kenneth loved and worked the land as a farmer. He could be found at a ballfield when his grandsons were playing ball.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14 at 11:00AM at Orange Chapel United Methodist Church , Chapel Hill. NC and the visitation will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall.
