Kathryn McCoy Glosson

Kathryn McCoy Glosson, 82, of Pittsboro, NC, died on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at UNC Health Care in Hillsborough, NC. Kathryn was born on February 9, 1935 in Chatham County, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 56 years, Eugene Glosson, and her brothers, Vernon and James McCoy. She is survived by her four sons: Ray, of Sanford, NC; Tony (Donna), of Lafayette, TN; Jimmy and Dean, of Pittsboro, NC; her grandson, Brandon Glosson; her brother, Harold McCoy; and her sister, Phyllis Campbell. Kathryn was a dedicated member of Mount Olive Baptist Church for over 60 years and loved talking with her friends and caring for others. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2pm at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Pittsboro, NC with Dr. David Crowther officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1pm and will be at the home at other times.
