Geraldine Marie (Bowling) Howard

Geraldine Marie Bowling Howard, age 83, of Pittsboro, died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at UNC Hospitals.

Geraldine was born in Harnett County on June 3, 1935 to the late Richard Bowling and Floyd Goodwin Bowling. She was also preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Howard, two brothers Raeford Bowling and Troy Bowling, and one sister Helen Lewter.

Surviving relatives include one son Ricky Howard of New Hill, two daughters; Vickie Thomas and husband Kenneth of Pittsboro, Starr Fair and husband Dennis of Bear Creek, one sister JoAnn Barker of Durham, five grandchildren Heather Evans and husband Jeff, Shannon Robinson and husband Darryl, Maria Dowd and husband Phillip, DJ Fair, Dustin Fair and two great-grandchildren Easton Evans and Dilyn Evans.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, 2018 from 6PM to 8PM at Donaldson Funeral Home & Cremation Griffin Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 12PM at Pittsboro Baptist Church with Rev. Tripp Harmon presiding. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
