Barbara Patricia "Pat" (Keck) Weeks

Barbara Patricia “Pat” Keck Weeks, age 79, of Pittsboro, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Pat was born in Chatham County, on May 19, 1938 to the late James Gordon Keck, Sr. and Hattie Jones Keck. She was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law Laurie Weeks, three brothers James Gordon Keck, Jr., Bill Keck, Roy Keck, and four sisters Geneva Harris, Lib Sykes, Doris Jackson, and Beulah Donaldson.

Pat is survived by her husband James “Jim” Bruce Weeks, Sr. son James Bruce “JB” Weeks, Jr. of Siler City, daughter Julie Weeks Greene and husband Kelly of Asheboro, four grandchildren Audrey Bullock and husband Jonathan of Raleigh, Lucas Weeks and wife Alexis of Columbus, GA, Katie Hall and husband Joey of Sanford, Samuel Weeks of Washington D.C., and four great-grandchildren Gabriel Bullock, Emerson Weeks, Lila Weeks, and Lincoln Hall.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 15, 2017 from 6PM to 8PM at Donaldson Funeral Home & Cremation Griffin Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2017 at 11AM at Hanks Chapel Church with Rev. Ray Gooch presiding. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
