Amy Buckner Obituary

Amy Elizabeth Buckner, 60 of Pittsboro, North Carolina passed away in her home Saturday, November 23rd 2019. Amy, the daughter of Catherine Marie Roberson and Howard Carl Buckner, was born October 25th 1959 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Amy was well known as an exceptional bartender working for various restaurants and as a pastry chef, having worked at The General Store in Pittsboro, North Carolina and Foster's Market in Durham.

Amy was predeceased by her parents and brother, Stephen Boyd Buckner. She is survived by sisters, Laura Frances Cyr of Little Elm, Texas and Julie Ann Buckner of Perry, Florida; and her brother, David Eric Buckner of Butner, North Carolina.

Amy, we will miss your flair for etiquette and your love for throwing eloquent dinner parties. It’s now time for the hostess to rest in peace.
