Agnes Helen (Neth) Hart

Agnes Helen Hart, 96, of Pittsboro, North Carolina, was called home by her Lord, on Monday, September 4, 2017. She was born in Albany, New York on July 31, 1921 and lived in Schenectady, NY where she was employed by the General Electric Company for many years. Her greatest joy was caring for her family and sharing her life with her beloved husband, Wesley, for nearly 75 years. She was a kind and generous spirit, a prayer warrior and a witness for Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley; daughters, Kathleen Wakeman and Lynne Dyer, both of Pittsboro, NC; grandson and apple of her eye, Todd Walton; 5 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Wesley, Josie and Emily Walton and Mackenzie Battista, all of Buford, GA; along with 2 nephews and 3 nieces.

A memorial service and reception is planned for 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at New Salem Baptist Church, 5030 Old Graham Road, Pittsboro, NC. She will be interred with her husband in the Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY when Wesley, a veteran of WWII, joins her in death.

In lieu of flowers, Agnes requested that memorial donations be made to the New Salem Baptist Church building fund or to Community Home Care and Hospice, 108 Village Lake Rd, Building 1, Siler City, NC 27344.
