Tony Williams

Tony Williams, age 87, of Pittsboro, NC died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his home.

Tony was born in McDowell County, West Virginia on June 1, 1930 to the late George Williams and Mammie Manns Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mollie, two sons Larry Williams and Andre Williams, four brothers Willie, Thomas, Shirley, Clue, and four sisters Faith, Hope, Charity, and One.

Surviving relatives include daughter Karla Godbee and husband Ronald of Pittsboro, three sons Tony Williams, Jr. of Mobile, Alabama, Cornel Williams and wife Linda of Sterling Heights, Michigan, David Williams and wife Patricia of Macomb, Michigan, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10AM to 11AM The River Church in Durham. The Funeral Service will follow at 11AM with Pastor Ronald Godbee presiding. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park with Military Rites.
