I did not get to meet her directly but I was the recipient of extraordinary kindness from her daughter and her husband while I and my mother were in a crisis situation. I was sorry that I was not able to meet Ellen in person, but I feel that her essence shined through her daughter and her husband who had encouraged me. in a dark time. God has called home a precious sole, I have many great memories of Ellen as we spent time together with our families. Ellen had a smile that lite up any room she was in; when I think of Ellen I see her smile and her sweet gentle spirit. You made a difference in many peoples life, so blessed God brought our families together. You will be missed.
