Donald Paul Krombach

Donald “Don” Paul Krombach, age 64, of Apex, died Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  

Don was born in Buffalo, NY, on December 31, 1952, to the late William Ralph Krombach and Alice Wilcocks Krombach.

Don served on the Pittsboro Fire Department for 24 years and owned Pittsboro Tire & Auto for 20 years. He was also a Mason and member of Columbus Lodge #102 AF & AM in Pittsboro and Apex Lodge #584 AF & AM.

Surviving relatives include his wife Karen Berns Krombach; three daughters, Kerry Davidson and husband Daniel of Sanford, Katy Brewer and husband Andrew of Bennett, Krissy Maness and husband Keith of Siler City, five brothers; William Krombach and wife Kathy of Pittsboro, Robert Krombach and wife Patricia of Dallas, TX, Thomas Krombach of Anderson, South Carolina, Patrick Krombach and wife Renee of Pittsboro, John Krombach of Apex, two sisters Mary Smith and husband Gary of Rochester, NY, Anne Stack and husband Steve of Durham; four grandchildren Lindsey Maness, Danielle Davidson, Emma Brewer and Ethan Brewer.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church with Lay Pastor Karen Ladd, Father Wilbur Mundia and Rev. Ray Gooch presiding.
